enough is enough.

Pre season has been the worst in living memory, our squad is threadbare and quality wise we are degenerating into a pre Micky Adams standard team.

We must make our feelings known at the fans forum and the "yes (Liz Costa) men" need to be silenced

- Investment must be made in the team
- Mark Mcghee needs to have clear targets for the year
- answers need to be given on how we plan to attract and keep talent

We CANNOT let all the hard work over the last few years go to waste

UP THE ALBION

I think its time for some direct questions for sure, after all I am again paying out £450 + yet even the most basic of things that teams do like replacing players we haven't done.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
I hear that Mr Knight 'may' have to answer some very awkward questions about the Blooms and the subsequent lies that were printed in the Argus.

It could be a very intersesing night.

Dwayne makes some good points here - but this one from Rougvie confuses me.

I thought it was McGhee who was talking to Naylor - so why will questions be asked of Knight?

If it is the case that some people who know Bloom will be asking questions of Knight at the forum - then why doesn't Bloom ask Knight direct? Hardly a very business like way of doing things is it? Trying to embarass the company chairman at what amounts to an AGM of the company in front of the shareholders (i.e. us the customers). I cant believe that Bloom who as we have been told is a strong Albion fan would want to destabilise the company in this way.

However if the aim is to put McGhee on the spot - then go ahead:thumbsup:

Sadly I cant be at the forum, but unlike Bens Grandad on another thread I dont believe the date was picked deliberately to prevent me attending!

Can I put forward some answers:

1. The board are currently subsidising the club to the tune of £8000 a week, who else wants to do the same?

2. Targets are fine, but they may be financial rather than playing

3. Good wages and working conditions will attract players, just as it operates in any line of business

I predict the opposite. We'll announce a new signing on Thursday to try & nullify the impending critisism.

If that is to say: "It's ok if we're 23rd at Christmas, Mark, as long as we're operating in the black." then may I suggest we resign from the football league for the season and wait until next year and join League 2?

Football is all about doing what you can on your budget and as I've said elsewhere, I refuse to accept we're in a worse position than a lot of other clubs in League 1.

Yes and the bobble hats will be picked out with the loaded questions so that Dick Tight and Magoo don't have to answer anything they might not like.
Of course the real show of support for this clueless couple will be at the Gillingham game when there are less than 5000 in the ground and banks of empty green seats

Half of which will be taken up by bobble-hatters commending McGhee on signing up 11 youth players.

BTW, seeing as it's only an hour, can this year everyone not feel the need to thank you DK for the job he is done at the beginning of their question? Let's just take it as read that we are all very grateful and not waste time with the tedium of personally thanking him every single question.

If we really are aiming for midtable mediocrity this season, maybe someone should suggest going into voluntary administration to clear the debts

Well we cant because we have nothing to sell. We would just go straight to liquidation as we have no assets.
