I predict the opposite. We'll announce a new signing on Thursday to try & nullify the impending critisism.

According to Insider the club hope to have some transfer news tomorrow morning. I just knew that would happen! :lolol:

Go on then...

What DK will say will be something as follows:

- the boardroom discussions over McGhee's future was nothing unusual, in every business there is a period of review at the end of a season/trading year where performances of senior managers are evaluated - this was all that was happening inside the Albion boardroom

- the only thing that made the process exceptional was that it was played out on the back pages of the Argus, which DK regretted.

- there was a division of opinion but after a period of discussions, "common sense prevailed" and Mark McGhee was retained

- promotion of Dean Wilkins would have happened anyway regardless of these board discussions, due to the intake of his young charges into the pro squad and potential interest in Dean from other clubs

Now, Best of British for any of you trying to budge DK off that script for tomorrow :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:

What if I ask you nicely?

Roughly, he said that they always assess the managers performance at the end of the season.

Bloom and Chapman wanted him out, and Knight and Perry wanted him to stay. The Argus stirred things up, and it unsettled the squad for the Stoke game.

McGhee said he could of taken 14 months compensation, but decided to stay. He said it was his idea to have Wilkins in the first team coaching staff.

If we really are aiming for midtable mediocrity this season, maybe someone should suggest going into voluntary administration to clear the debts

........and by doing so make it almost impossible to borrow funds to buy Falmer due to a piss poor credit rating? You really should be on 'The Apprentice' shouldn't you.
