I once had to put together a fancy dress costume very quickly. I bought a set of black overalls and a black balaclava from the local army surplus store, turned up at the party and had great fun for a few hours with NOBODY KNOWING WHO I WAS.

You can get away with ... well, things you normally can't get away with.
