Hove actually
I said the same. It was his best game for us
We don't sign players just to have their ass sitting on a bench. This is us, we give them an opportunity to develop. I remember Sarmiento when he first had a run out and Encisco. Nothing particularly remarkable but you could clearly see they had the potential and the desire. It's nurtured and gradually they become those players that we could never dream of leaving out of the side. In a couple of years time we could be seeing a regular line up of McGill, Van Hecke, Sarmiento, Encisco, Ferguson, Adringa etc, etc. Keep the faith!

Exactly - love him and his enthusiasm, but he'll soon be a marked and hated man. I think even Pascal Groß was tiring of the histrionics today. You've got the foul, your opponent has been carded - there's no need to roll around as if you require a leg amputation NOW otherwise you're going to die.

The senior pros need to talk that out of his game.
He was getting bollocked by Gross all the way through the first half. Mostly for not following instructions I think and that's also why he was hooked. His confidence in thinking he cam do everything by himself will make him an excellent player I think, he just needs a bit of help maturing over the next season or so.

Sussex but not by the sea
He needs to at least try to go outside his man now and again but he’s clearly very one footed. Over the next 12 months the club will strengthen him up and coach, coach, coach. Same as Ensciso, Mac, March, Trossard, rinse and repeat.

That's surely why he will ultimately play inside.

He doesn't have the pace of Mitoma and I doubt has the scarcely believable outside of the stronger foot cross Mitoma has, so will likely play where this will be less of an issue.

I would like to think Facu is at least trying to develop a right foot he could use in an emergency

Can imagine City’s Lewis will be having nightmares about Buononotte tonight. Our boy was getting very physical with him, often off the ball. Seems to have adapted to UK game very quickly.

Showed promise tonight. I especially liked some of the tracking back and winning the ball. He’s learning. I think De Zerbi wants more of that from Enciso as well. It’s so important to our style of play.

Yes while he’s been very solid replacement for March on the wing you wouldn’t say he’s set the team alight there. But when he cut inside into midfield today suddenly you thought f’ing hell that’s a regular first team starter next season

Best game for us tonight. Great feet, composure and vision. Looking forward to seeing him next season. UTA
