If you read the whole thread (plank) he was compared to ferguson etc as has managed (not assisted)in over 1000 league games apparently.My point is that may be so but what has he won compared to wenger.I really hope hull go down as i cant stand phil brown.

I have to admit I like Arsenal and the way they try and play the game, but maybe because of that they do tend to get rather precious at times. That said, some of the things that Hull have been doing and saying are equally ridiculous in a more thuggish way; Phil Brown and his team are starting to resemble a Sam Allardyce side without the occasional decent result (since Xmas anyway!).

who knows as I have only been around the last 30 years. Making unquantifiable statements about teams is something that should be left to the media.
Surely football is all about opinions and making 'unquantifiable opinions', sure if we left it to the media what would we talk about. Not that unquantifiable anyway as they are the only team to have gone an entire season in the top flight of english football unbeaten

That Arsenal side was brilliant.
Nevertheless, even if no English club has performed better over the course of a league season, doesn't mean Fabregas didn't spit at Horton.
Even if Horton is an Albion legend for his managerial stint here as well as his playing career, doesn't mean he isn't lying about Fabregas.
We just don't know either way.

Probabaly did spit at horton, but knowing how phil brown operates i would suggest it was not unprovoked (by horton) if he did.

Opinions are good but usually work best when you get your facts right. Do you believe everything Sky Sports tell you?
The very first season of League football was in 1888-89 and Preston North End went unbeaten throughout the campaign. As you mention the British Top flight (whatever that might be) Rangers won every match in 1898-99.
Arsenal are my favourite side after the Albion but you cannot condone a player who spits at someone. If it was an Albion player who had done it I would want them banned for a very long time if it was proven they had spat at someone. It is the most vile of acts IMO.
