no i didnt boo. i stood at the front of the terrace and clapped the team off. yes they played badly, but having just lost their manager and not knowing what the f*** is going on, i dont really think being booed off by moronic supporters would have the right effect.

II'm minded to think that booing probably produces a "f*** You then" attitude from the team.

True, although I'd say that it's very close between provoking a sulky "f*** you then" reaction and a "f*** you lot, we'll show you, booing us???"-type reaction.

If they were suitably embarrassed by last night's performance and people's reaction to it, then I'd expect them to come out and start playing like they're pissed-off and angry at Withdean on Saturday and I honestly think maybe getting booed can contribute to that spirit. Said it before, they won't want to get booed again.

If they don't, we're f***ed.

And as for Popkins, he called the players ****s. Couldn't believe it.

I am sorry everybody for my little outbust, i was beered up (as if you couldnt all tell!)
but I do believe fans have the right to Boo the players,
I know brighton fans expectations are high but with such a poor performance as that, I told them what i thought!

I also thought is was an outrage that only Danny cullip came over and appluaded the fans! thier all too quick to come over when we win and soak up our admiration but the cant take our criticism!COWARDS!

"WE Hate london and we hate london," that song went down very well on the tube in rush hour yesterday!

to much drinking in the crabtree mr popkins picking up all the bad language and the:drink: is shit:lolol:

I booed them, then felt bad, then clapped Cullip and joined in with "theres only one Danny Cullip".

I'm not in for all this cheering and clapping if they play shit.

Thats 3 hours of football and about 80 quid Ive spent in the last 4 days without even one decent effort on goal.

Whatever the manager situation, it is the same team that has got us to the top of the league, and those performances are just simply unnacceptable.

I thoroughly reserve the right to vent my opinions on the team. I know its not constructive, but to be honest in the heat of the moment I coudn't give a toss. Its just the manner of the defeat that pisses me off, not actually losing. I can handle losing if we play with a bit of effort, but last night was a travesty. They let every one of us down, and they need to be told.

The boo's might give DK a kick up the arse as well. We NEED a new manager NOW.

At one stage a nostalgic thought crossed my mind.

We used to go to Gillingham three times a month to watch worse than this.

Oh happy days.

At least this time we can look forward to some improvement, rather than just praying for a miracle (or another Doncaster Rovers defeat, as it was called in 1997/98).

I think its time a lot of albion fans need to get out of the grateful for anything routine.

This should be a very ambitous club with high hopes and not going on about lucky to be hear etc as that was bad times and the end of an era.

:)

I don't disagree with you, berkshire seagull. The point I was making was that I had a brief twinge of nostalgia yesterday.

We do expect better these days. And thank god for that.

It was annoying to be beaten so badly but that's life.

Booing players - nearly kicked off between fans where I was over this !

Leson from last night - appoint a manager ASAP and not Bob although I suggested this on Saturday.

Players body language is a give away at present - they need direction and managing.

It still is bad times folks. No ground or prospect of one for at least 3 years, no money, no manager, no scouting network, and a bunch of fickle fans.

The only reason I didn't leave before the end was because I wanted to boo the players. It was only the third time I've done it in about three years (away at Palace and Stoke last season) so it's not something I do lightly.

Last night though, as with the aforementioned games, they were a disgrace to the shirt and deserved to be told so. Nothing fickle about that.
