It's not my fault you couldn't play the safety game tinx.

To be honest that was as good as i have played in a while.

My safety game was ok for a while.

just went at the last moment, went for a piss at half time and didn't manage to get back to you lot...... Unbeleivable that it took 15 minutes to have a piss.....

I would never boo off the team. What is it going to do to their confidence.

I shouted (and screamed) throughout the match egging them on. Come on Brighton! You can do it! and such like.

Must remember not to swear. Two guys in front of me turned round and told me off (in a jokey way).

BB.

I was the one in the cap and no we weren't joking!!

You're swearing in the first half and the bloke listening in to my chat with my mates, telling me to get behind the team and then five muinutes later slagging them off. Followed by his mate spending the next ten minutes desperately trying in vain to stare me out, what was that all about??

Both incidents upset me so much that I had to go and sit in the seats second half.

No they don't. So if you do something wrong at work, do you expect every one of your colleagues to tell you your a twat? I personally wouldn't want that.

They KNOW they played crap. Booing players off does nothing to their confidence.

All those people who boo btw, would you go up to Cullip and tell him he was crap and you booed him?

Yup - did it last night. (From the safety of the terrace mind)

I paid good money to come and support them, and they did nothing to win that suppport. I was perfectly happy to applud a defeat providing they looked like they cared and put in the effort required/ That was on the most hopeless performances I have seen since Jimmy Case was in charge.

and given their "effort" last night, I wonder if they did give a toss.

 Nothing to do with me! I wondered where you got to!

It was rather pathetic in my mind. We are all there to watch the match and I was standing in the middle of some stupid people.

BTW I swore once! Sorry. Won't do it again.

Your mate made me laugh though, the short blonde haired one. Made my 1st half!

Yeah, safety from the terrace. Coward!:jester:

I would be ashamed of myself if I were you - but obviously you see nothing wrong in it.

No...but then again if I was ever any good at my work, I wouldn't expect 6,900 people to applaud me either. I hope to find out one day...with respect, it's not really a like for like comparison.

Bear it in mind: you pay their wages and that gives you the right to comment any way that you want.

The fact that Danny Cullip is a scary sod has little to do with it - in fact he was utter shite last night too and I bet he knows it today. Who was meant to be defending? Brentford could lump balls upfield and chase after them and know that we wouldn't have a clue how to deal with them.

They won't want to get booed again, especially at home. So they need to sort it out.

Apology accepted (although when I take my kids I shamefully tell them that it's ok to swear at football for 90 minutes and then it must stop as soon as they leave the ground, what a way to influence them!!)

I hope you are not classing me and my mates as the stupid people!!

The blonde bombshell made us laugh more at the end of the game (well 5 mins from the end) as we got up to leave the seats he tumbled from top to bottom of the stairs. Got up brushed himself down and blushed out of the ground all the way back to the car.
The best thing was nobody came rushing to his aide, just sat there laughing at him!

The only people who should be ashamed of themselves after last nights debacle are the players.

Actually, the guy i was with should be ashamed. Many apologies if anyone was toppled on by a leering, long-haired giant who kept shouting "Chelsea reject" for no apparent reason or was struck by bits of the pie he fired at a steward. He was uncontrollably drunk.

I didn't boo. But I didn't applaud either. I'm minded to think that booing probably produces a "f*** You then" attitude from the team. Whereas silence shows them just how deeply they've let everyone down. And for a team that always comment on the quality of our vocal support, saying nothing actually says it all.

Exactly my thoughts roz.

Sometimes silence says it all.

Im getting fed up of this work analogy.

FOOTBALL ISNT LIKE ANY OTHER NORMAL JOB

They were playing crap in the first half, if they knew it why didnt at least one of them put some effort in to do something about it.
I think we are pretty discplined (if thats the right word) fans. Albion havent been booed for ages even at the Palace game which I was shocked at. Reading were booed last night and that was the third game for SC so its not like we do it willy nilly anyway.
