So inconsistent that we've lost three times in 22 league games this season. A 1-1 draw when playing 85 minutes against promotion contenders with only 10 men, a 5-0 victory over one of the division's in-form teams and an away win against a side with one of the best home records - if only we could string a couple of results together!
Only 7 points from 9 over the holiday period - gutted!!!

Thought Murray was very good, Bridcutt got better as the game went on, and Sparrow had one of his better performances. Noone tried a lot of tricks and did OK, thought he was perhaps trying a little too hard to impress and the City fans were surprisingly very much out to wind him up. Taricco had a few spats with the lino and City fans: first he complained about a decision with a lino, then there was the incident where Golbourne went in late on him which meant after the first goal, Taricco dropped to his knees waving both fists at the Flybe stand, pretty sure he then blew a kiss at the Old Grandstand as he was subbed. Finally he went mental when we scored the winner in front of the City fans which seemed to go on for ages before he turned round to the players and told them to “keep calm”!!
Second half, apart from about 10-15 minutes, I thought we dominated possession and created some decent chances.
Not sure if it was a tactic or not but Painter played more as the left side of three centre backs rather than as left full back, and this left the Exeter winger in loads of space down the their right, and this seemed to be where most of their threat came from.
