Of this battle between two likely writhers, i'll go certainly for Atletico. Real, the epitome of world football's tantrummy spoilt cheats, i just cannot stand. Particularly that Pepe, who is a constant c*nt.

Zinedine Zidane on course at the moment to become the 7th man to win the European Cup as both a player and manager. Some very illustrious names amongst the other 6.

Not one of them. He's one of a handful to have won the World Cup as both a player and manager though (1974 and 1990).

Trappatoni must be one and possibly the recently departed Cruyff as he was manager of Barcelona when they won at Wembley and won it with Ajax

Yup.

Trappatoni won it twice as a player with Milan in the 1960s and won it as a manager with Juventus in 1985. Cruyff won it 3 years on the spin as a player with Ajax and then won Barcelona's first ever European Cup when he was manager when they beat Sampdoria at Wembley in 1992.

Of the others, there's a former Premier League manager and a future Premier League manager there. Also, there's someone who won it as a player with 2 compatriots in the same team and the manager of the team that was involved in the highest scoring European Cup final in history.
