Interesting though. Villa are adding 10,000 seats and Citeh 8,000, whilst 74,000 OT (leaky roof), 61,000 Anfield and 60,000 Emirates miss out.

A question for you, did you ever visit Hampden when it held 120k to £140k?

Why are Turkey planning to host 2032 with Italy? They aren't even neighbours.

Old Trafford is no longer a category 1 UEFA listed stadium so can also no longer hold European finals. It is in a poor state generally and it's broadcasting facilities are woeful.

It is objectively quite funny that games are being played in Liverpool, Manchester and north London and none of Liverpool, Man Utd or Arsenal are involved

I would imagine it's the prohibitive cost of hosting what have become mega-size tournaments.

As for pairing up with Italy, Turkey doesn't have great relationships with many of its neighbours!

My first football memories are from 1973. I remember the biennial Auld Enemy games at Hampden in the 70's, a colossal crowd on the three up-to-the-gods terraces, the noise. I was tense about the result, even as a young kid.
