Commentators say Root is normally good at slip. This year his catch rate is only 60%. He does seem to drop easy ones.

The people moaning about this test being a waste of time presumably switched off and missed Bennett’s century.

Personally think this is good for the game. More tests against the strongest teams (and England, arf) will help Zimbabwe improve and, in time, get somewhere closer to the team they used to be.

He's, at best, fine.

Atherton described Crawley as a good slip fielder earlier and I literally don't think I've disagreed with anything he's said more.
