The spinners have already bowled 4 overs with the new ball, so they'll be getting plenty of work this afternoon. You'd expect them to tire in the final session as well, so I don't consider the bookies are being overly generous with their odds.

In addition, the stats about highest winning score inn the 4th inning can be misleading. Before one-day cricket got a foothold a lot of matches were drawn, and they simply ran out of time so there weren't big 4th innings scores.

A lot of the records about biggest 4th inns run chases have been set in the last 20 years.

You wouldn't expect KP to be the England hero this time, Strauss is due and Collingwood will be up for it.
