It's a B game it's for getting players fitter and looking at our reserves, I am sure he will try 4-5-1 against Hungry and Jamacia.
He obviously wants to see Crouch and Owen for a bit!

Chill the f*** out!

The idea is that fringe players and those that need match practice get a game. With Crouch playing it will be interesting who Sven starts next week up front.

I guess Belarus will play Hleb and some other blokes.

Excuse my ignorance, but what makes it a 'B' game as opposed to a friendly - does it just mean SGE can make as many subs as he likes ??

Make as many subs as agreed by the managers and you don't get a cap

They will try Gerrard out up front in one of the other games I think.
If Sven EVER plays Gerrard up front, it will surely comprehensively prove to anyone who may (still) be in any doubt, that Eriksson is indeed a bona-fide, 24 carat, 100% pure and utter FUCKTARD of the highest order.

I doubt he'll ever play as an out and out striker but he may be tried off the front man as he has played there a lot of times for Liverpool. Anything that keeps him out of central midfield is fine by me.

Why?

Gerrard has scored more goals than any of the England Strikers this year.

And was he playing AS a striker ?
The reason he's scored so many goals this season is because Benitez knows PRECISELY how to deploy him in his Liverpool team. Unfortunately for us, Sven has't got a f***ing clue WHERE to play him for England, so he's seen him score a couple of long range goals lately and thought "derrrr, maybe he'd be a good STRIKER then". Which is simplistic TRIPE that I wouldn't expect from an 11 year old playing Championship Manager, let alone the f***ing ENGLAND manager.

Playing as a striker and playing as a midfielder is a completely different proposition - you need different strengths, different skills, a different reading of the game, and different instincts. Only in SvenWorld do you get one of the worlds top midfielders being considered as a striker. I dispair, I really do.

looking at that all the players that have played regular and are in that team, would natrually be in the b team. others from A team in there have not played regular because of injury. so hopefully that means crouch is not a A team starter.

Crouch and Owen in a 4-4-2 for the World Cup. Same old midfield of J Cole, Gerrard, Lampard., Beckham.

I absolutely guarantee it.

Not sure about Carrick being in there - he should be an automatic choice in the first team at the moment. Hopefully just being given as much international experience as possible.
