I still watch Jiri Skalak's absolute biffing thrike from the 4-0 home win against QPR. It doesn't mean I'd want him anywhere near our Premier League squad.And this is where we differ, I will watch and rewatch Enciso's goal against man city because it is spectacular. I do enjoy wins but the memorable moments in football for me are the ones that get you out of your seat and say wow.
A lot more people would watch a highlights video of Le Tissier than Makelele, but Makelele would win you more matches
I'm happy with how things have developed too, and if the club feel we are a level above him then so be it. But seeing less players like Enciso valued in the game is a sad thing
There are issues in Enciso's game that mean he's playing for a side doomed to relegation, and not one threatening the Champions League places. But I do hope he knuckles down and ends up back here, because he is likeable and as you say he's great to watch on his day.
