Ferguson has been out of form for a while and for three different managers. Strange one to pin on Fab.
Not saying it’s Fab, because I think it’s injury and a case of maturing from a football perspective.

But I think he did well for Potter and RdZ until he got injured.

Said it before and probably lost somewhere on this thread or elsewhere, he's not a no.10. At least not where he'd be most effective consistently.

Before that big injury he was playing on the left. He's not intelligent enough or a good enough passer and mover to play 10. Off the left he can cut in and also see more of the pitch. If he played on the left week in week out he'd outgrow the club. Unfortunately for him we have Mitoma.

This is where it seems, Fab and/or whoever makes these decisions, get it wrong?
Having watched MOTD you can see why he's frustrating though.

No doubt he's talented and there's no player in our club possibly, who can hit such worldies.

But he's also extremely selfish and wasteful of good opportunities as he always looks to shoot himself even when better options exist.

If Enciso could learn it's more about team scoring than Enciso personal glory, he'll go much further.

The game he got injured, he gave two inch perfect assists for March to score, and I thought, this is it, he's finally becoming a team player, but since coming back he reverted to worldie only mode.

(I probably mentioned it before in this thread - but cant be bothered to look - still like him though, he appears to be a cheeky little scamp)

Them showing his 2 worldies for us alongside the goal he scored yesterday made home look amazing, until you remember that’s over the course of 55 appearances, and that in the other 52 there’s invariably been a couple of those attempts that have ended up in Row Z when a simple pass was on.

But the frustrating thing (to me) regards the 'its about the team scoring' is how we f*ck about passing it when we should be shooting and then lose the opportunity. The game is about scoring/stopping goals not about pretty team football that's just a positive extra . Him being different and selfish isn't a problem for me.

Would still like him back because he's a bums off seat player and I always love them (even Paddy McCourt and his 10 appearances, after that Barnsley goal).

But I can't see it as he seems to want more than he's likely to get due a crowded squad. Unless others leave?

Yeah I agree, if he shoots too often he would be balanced out by a few of our players who don't shoot often enough.

Surely this can be coached? Or does our coach coach it to happen?

True. In hindsight his loan move to the Tractor Boys hasn't worked out for either party, Ipswich were as good as relegated long before the season ended, Enciso spent a good portion of it injured or not getting into the starting eleven, and a combination of those factors doesn't help the confidence of any player, let alone the, allegedly egotistical, Julio.

As you say, if he is looking to start games from the get go when he returns here next season, he is likely to be disappointed.

Giving players ten as they scored a cracking goal frustrates me. I doubt if you remove the goal he would be getting a ten. People get blinded by one amazing thing
Scoring a goal should bump the score up a point or two, but I get your point.

Enciso has started Ipswich’s last 8 games, and only missed 2 games through injury.

Ipswich’s survival bid may have been doomed, but Enciso’s loan is definitely one of our more successful ones this season.

For me, having a young impressionable player like Enciso, play for a team that is getting beaten nearly every week, isn't doing his confidence any good at all.

No. He is done here. He'd have signed a contract extension like Facu did if he wanted to stay.

The best we can hope for now is a bidding war. Leeds Utd is a good call, perhaps Everton too as they have over a dozen players out of contract next month. He'd actually suit Man Utd very well as like many of their current squad, he isn't really a team player but can produce bits of world class play from time to time to win games. Maybe Spurs would have a sniff also. I can't see a foreign club competing with Premier League wages at his point in his career.

He’s got 2 goals and 3 assists so far, including a goal of the month contender on Saturday. I think his confidence is fine.

Seriously, our loans on the whole this season have been abysmal, but this one actually has worked out well.

A bidding war? for someone like Enciso? 12 months ago then maybe, but he has been out of the spotlight for some time now and hasn't exactly set the world alight playing for a club who were as good as relegated long before the season ended.

Sorry l can't see it personally.

Not quite. I'll never forget his goal at Bournemouth. Complete composure.
