Said it before and probably lost somewhere on this thread or elsewhere, he's not a no.10. At least not where he'd be most effective consistently.

Before that big injury he was playing on the left. He's not intelligent enough or a good enough passer and mover to play 10. Off the left he can cut in and also see more of the pitch. If he played on the left week in week out he'd outgrow the club. Unfortunately for him we have Mitoma.

This is where it seems, Fab and/or whoever makes these decisions, get it wrong?
Having watched MOTD you can see why he's frustrating though.

No doubt he's talented and there's no player in our club possibly, who can hit such worldies.

But he's also extremely selfish and wasteful of good opportunities as he always looks to shoot himself even when better options exist.

If Enciso could learn it's more about team scoring than Enciso personal glory, he'll go much further.

The game he got injured, he gave two inch perfect assists for March to score, and I thought, this is it, he's finally becoming a team player, but since coming back he reverted to worldie only mode.

(I probably mentioned it before in this thread - but cant be bothered to look - still like him though, he appears to be a cheeky little scamp)

Them showing his 2 worldies for us alongside the goal he scored yesterday made home look amazing, until you remember that’s over the course of 55 appearances, and that in the other 52 there’s invariably been a couple of those attempts that have ended up in Row Z when a simple pass was on.

But the frustrating thing (to me) regards the 'its about the team scoring' is how we f*ck about passing it when we should be shooting and then lose the opportunity. The game is about scoring/stopping goals not about pretty team football that's just a positive extra . Him being different and selfish isn't a problem for me.
