I am working on the assumption he needed stitches as he legged it off to the changing room ?

Any news on his injury.....

Listening on the radio and they said he had a broken nose and said a deep cut to his forehead.

Silly old bat
Not as brave as Ankergren then, who had his nose reset on the pitch and carried on playing. Weakling!!

From what i heard on the Gus interview, he wanted to come back but the treatment (stitches) would have taken too long. Whay play 5-10 mins a man down when a replacement is ready?

Exactly, big softie

I think one of the best ever injury repairs on the touch line was when Yap Stam was being stitched up playing for Holland - looked like an android.

I am sure someone can put up the photo of it........

Me and who ever was next to me were talking about it and its exactly the same as Colchester at home last year.

Difference was they went and f***ing scored last year!

And did anyone notice how we didn't look to bad for a team playing with 10 men?

Isn't it great that rather than wait 5 minutesfor our in form defender to come back, we just bring on another in form defender.

Good stuff, eh?

Hope he's ok though.

That's because with our disciplinary record in recent seasons, we've had more practice than most.

I just hope it doesn't ruin his good looks.

Maybe it will give Elphick and Greer the chance to develop an understanding together as our first choice centre back pairing.
