I know the idea of a roof has been brought up many times, but would it also not be more plausible to put one on the East Stand? Would certainly help if they did want it to generate atmosphere.

Only problem is I can remember the North stand being a souless , quiet place at times . Singing was sometimes left to about 15 lads no older than 18.

Rose tinted i think

Yes, when it didn't have a roof.

Drum is quite good idea.

Making the East stand the new singing section is an idea that I've mentioned once or twice before. The traditional location for the vocal home support has always been behind the goal (ala north stand, kop etc). Why not make that stand the singing, standing, jumping around like a drunken looney stand. The view may not be as good as the current singing section but the atmosphere could be a hell of a lot better.

The "Singing section" would be rubbish in the east stand, as you wouldnt be able to hear the banter from the away fans - and that is normally what sparks the singing section into singing a song

it would make a worse atmoshpere in my opinion

the best atmosphere is always when our stand is by the players tunnel and you get to cheers them off as they come off

So you want to move to the away stand?

East Stand should be a tenner for adults, fiver for students with nus and unemployed adults

South Stand, i'd add 2.50 on the east stand prices, and add a fiver on the south stand for the north stand

that will get in an extra 1000 fans at least

someone do the maths and work out if the figures are up and down. i always believe, lower prices, more fans or high prices, less fans is about equal in terms of income

A fiver for students? Not sure any league club offers that.

Agreed, £10 tickets would guarantee a FULL east stand every week.

Quite true but it would be full of South stand non season tkt holders as it is every time they have this sort of promotion, last season at one game season tkt holders could buy a tkt for a friend in the East stand for £5 and most non season tkt holders just got their season tkt holder friends to buy them a tkt as i did.
I go in the East stand every game and i dont want any more south stand undesireables coming into my nice friendly stand :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

That gets the thumbs up from me.I might be able to afford to watch the Albion play more often. But if the club are serious about fans returning then they need to sack Wilkins.Once a high profile manager is installed then the fans will return. It's not rocket science. We had our lowest gate the other night at Withdean because people don't like Wilkins or his style.
i cant see the point in getting a new manager, they shoud be marked on results, we should spend the money on squad improvements not high profile managers

I've always wondered why the club offers concessions to the unemployed. I'm sure they do, I'm not just imagining it. They ask for proof of benefit from the DWP.

Yes, it's admirable, but there are plenty of people who earn less in wages than some do in benefit.
