A bit biased, but since I was a massive XCOM (aka UFO: Enemy Unknown) fan back in the early 90's, it's great to see that a team is finally doing a proper remake of it without messing around too much with what made the game great. Here's a bit of gameplay footage from the game:

Also, an interesting look at Assassins Creed 3 again - but a whole new side to the game, naval warfare. Graphics here just look absolutely stunning.

I'm a little underwhelmed with Fifa 13. They've made ZERO graphical improvements to a game which IMO really does need them.

Things I'd like to have seen:

- Realtime weather/lighting that can change as a game goes on
- More realistic weather/lighting whilst they're at it. - Rain and snow does NOT look like that.
- Better crowds/pitchside elements

Edit: The ZERO bit may have been a bit harsh, but on the face of it, the graphical improvements aren't exactly jumping out at me.

Graphics aren't the biggest thing IMO. If they just improved the graphics at the expense of gameplay i'd be very pissed off. The gameplay needs to be updated. Changing weather would be nice though, can't be hard to implement.

They need to stop players from doing ridiculous prat falls over each other and sort out the refereeing especially the linesmen decisions which don't seem to follow the actual rules of football.

Also having to go back to the start screen to choose different teams in an exhibition match is infuriating.

However, most exciting announcement was the previously unheard of Watch Dogs (PS3, XBOX & PC). Looks incredible, but hard to tell from the footage how much of this is scripted and how much is open-ended to deal with as you want..

Looks utterly STUNNING. If it's half as good as it looks, it'll still be brilliant. If it IS as good as it looks, I genuinely think it could be one of the best games ever. We'll see.

Think that Watch_Dogs and Star Wars 1313 are going to be some time away from release yet - as both are likely to be next-gen console launch titles, so thinking Autumn '13 until we get a chance to play 'em.
