He's not so bad on us...
'I’ve seen a lot of football clubs. The best clubs. The biggest, most successful clubs — really tremendous. But Brighton & Hove Albion? Total disaster. Total lightweight operation. They're down there on the south coast — very coastal, very rainy — but not winning. Not doing the job. People are saying it, believe me.
They call themselves the “Seagulls.” Seagulls! Not exactly the most intimidating bird, okay? Not like an eagle. You ever seen a seagull fight? It runs away! That’s Brighton — always running, never winning big. And their stadium? It’s okay, not great. I've built better stadiums in my sleep. Just ask anybody.
The team? Full of no-names. Overrated manager, overhyped players, and they still think they’re clever because they pass the ball sideways a lot. They say it’s "tactical." I say it’s boring. Very boring. The fans? Very quiet, very sleepy. Like they’ve had too much tea and tofu.
They think they’re playing with the big boys now — Manchester United, Liverpool, real history — but Brighton’s just not in that league. It’s true. They had a decent season or two, but it won’t last. Everyone knows it. Just a small club pretending to be big. Sad!
Brighton & Hove Albion? Overrated, over-coached, and totally overhyped. Believe me'

Trump on the ref thread...
The ref was disgraceful. A total and complete joke. Should be ashamed. He was horrible — HORRIBLE! Some are saying he was wearing the other team’s shirt under that kit, and honestly, I believe it. I really do.
Brighton — they weren’t playing great, let’s be honest, but they were trying. And the ref? Blows the whistle every five seconds. Fouls that weren’t fouls, penalties that shouldn’t have been penalties, and VAR? More like VASTLY Against Reality. Total scam. Probably rigged — you never know!
There was clearly a handball — everybody saw it. Stevie Wonder could’ve seen it. But did the referee call it? Of course not. He looked the other way. Maybe he had a dinner reservation. Maybe he just doesn’t like Brighton. Either way — TERRIBLE judgment. One of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from a so-called “official.”
I’ve had better officiating at my golf clubs — and those are amateurs! This guy couldn’t ref a Little League match without messing it up. It’s no wonder people are saying the Premier League is going downhill. The refs are a joke. Sad!

Fired federal workers regret Trump vote

Cooper, however, now regrets her vote. While she waits for Trump's IVF promise to be fulfilled, she's also living with the financial repercussions of Trump's inauguration.
When Cooper went into the voting booth and made her choice to vote for Trump based on his IVF promise, she did not realize the effect it would have on her financial security. She was ultimately laid off from her job at the U.S. Forest Service in February.
“I had gotten a text from our union rep, and he told me that I was going to be fired the next day,” said Cooper. “My heart just sank.”
Her termination was part of a broad effort to reduce the federal workforce, as President Trump instituted a hiring freeze at the Forest Service and fired more than 3,400 recent hires.
“I made a decision that, looking back, I am not proud of,” she said.
