Leeds - but not the dirty bit
I had a lovely quiet Breakfast this morning at an adults only hotel while Mrs Wz was in their Aerobics class. Only trouble is that I had to travel 1500 miles to get it
I spent the last weekend at a lovely adults only hotel with my wife and didn't have to travel far at all.

I wanted a bit of sunshine with my breakfast though, which I understand hasn't been in abundance in Brighton over the last week

My dog is very well behaved, dives under the table never to be seen until I leave but I appreciate we have to judge by the worst behaved so I understand why some establishments say No Thanks. On another note the help dogs give supporting peoples mental health is incalculable I owe my dog far more than he owes me.

Brighton factually.....
I have to actively avoid pubs/cafes etc that let dogs in as I'm allergic to them. It has become increasingly difficult to find such places since the pandemic. So many dog owners seem to think it's wonderful to let their mutt/hound wander around inside to sniff other people and for a petting.
Oh, my pet hate is owners with stupid small dogs no bigger than a large bunny rabbit the owners carry everywhere "look at me, look at me, and my incredibly stupid small dog that is utterly pointless" they can feck right off, the owners only have them because either the kids have left home or they can't or are not "ready" for kids. Instead they turn their little rat dogs into princesses or camp kings in Tartan body warmers.

AAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!

If I see one of them in a restaurant I am turning round and leaving, horrible yappy things.

I would hazard a guess you are not that keen on seeing the ones carried around in a dog sling or pushed in a little pram like a small child would push around a doll then

I was surprised when booking a hotel in the Yorkshire Dales how many hotels offer dog friendly rooms. Whilst you can ask for a non dog friendly room, meaning a dog has not been in the room, it would mean there are dogs there and they will be in the bar/breakfast room.

I take my dog to the local for a quick pint or two with fellow dog owners. I would never take him to a nice meal with the Mrs in a restaurant. I would take him for breakfast with us in Perch in Lancing, which is clearly marketed as dog friendly.

It really is that simple.

Whilst we're at it.....

Anyone who is retired should be banned from shopping at the weekends.

Two fat people shouldn't be allowed to walk side by side on the pavement.

Any others....?

I am always amazed at the dog culture here in Malta. They often have a seat at the table or are even allowed on the table. Little yappy ones snap at waiters or any dogging past with little effort to control the dog by the owners. They even take them shopping!
