Fluffed a fairly easy chance in the box when he got his legs crossed over , about the 5th game in a row he has ballsed it up when it is easier to score.I'm sorry we were watching different games.
I saw CMS left wing, right wing, linking up play, putting in crosses, because if he'd stayed where he should be he wouldn't have got any ball, and in the off chance he did, he'll have 2 centre halfs to get round.
Which opportunity should he have scored from tonight?
I'd have the rampaging Viking in a heartbeat , him and FFs would be great . It's not his fault he hasn't got a partner .
Was that the one he had to create for himself by getting the ball deep down in the North West corner and having to move in so the angle was on. Taking him into at least 3 defenders, all the while there was no obvious lay up for anyone else?Fluffed a fairly easy chance in the box when he got his legs crossed over , about the 5th game in a row he has ballsed it up when it is easier to score.
Hardly his fault when his manager employs tactics which means he's supposed to play up front against 4 defenders with little support.

That guilt edged chance?
Bollox, unless they have found a way to pass one solid matter through another.Peter Ward would have buried it in the netBobby Zamora would have buried it in the net

If Holloway came in January with a cheeky offer for Dobbie, what would be the outcome ?
Bollox, unless they have found a way to pass one solid matter through another.
Nevertheless, it's all 'labrador' CMS' fault and all you can come up with is that example, that once again, he had to create himself.
Do you not think you're making yourself look a little silly?
Ward and Zamora were absolute class players , I expect CMS will be at The Amex on Tuesday when Gus has to explain the bids the club have received for him. £2.5 to £3M will offset the cost of bringing in a decent striker.Bollox, unless they have found a way to pass one solid matter through another.

You don't have to highlight the facts we already know, that's why they are called legends.Ward and Zamora were absolute class players , I expect CMS will be at The Amex on Tuesday when Gus has to explain the bids the club have received for him. £2.5 to £3M will offset the cost of bringing in a decent striker.

Do you honestly feel, a 'decent' striker will make all the difference in a team that doesn't create any chances in the final third.
This time next year, Mr A.N.Other will be getting dogs abuse for being sh*te in front of goal.
Or we would have changed our playing style and he'll be scoring a hatful.
Which would beg the obvious question:-
Why didn't you just do that for CMS?

I'd have defending defenders, (as much as I love Calde, Bridge and Bruno), give Bridcutt the space to own the holding role, which then frees up 2 (perhaps one and a half) midfielders to attack through the middle. Providing the balls for CMS to chase, be available for pass backs and 1-2's, provide a presence from the wing play, and most importantly occupy a centre defender. What would you change in our tactics or formation to get CMS scoring? We play with two wide players and both full backs and wingers like the cross the ball. CMS, on the other hand, likes to play in a system with another striker. He plays the ball to the support striker, runs behind the defence and the support striker slips him in to score. CMS can't play back-to-goal football or attack crosses, which is what Brighton play. A big f*** up on Gus' behalf, a mini version of the mess that is Fernando Torres signing for a team that doesn't play to his strengths.

Yep and CMS should have put Peterborough away on his own. That is tosh. Match after match this season we have created a ridiculous amount of easy chances and our forwards have missed loads of them. Hoskins should have had a hat trick by half time against Forest alone by half time as an example.
