Stupid question. All players are 'worth' whatever another club is prepared to pay for them.

We supposedly payed that for Dickinson, I would rather have Crofts any day so therefore i would say he is worth more than that!

For another team to buy him for that then no. But I don't think it's worth our while to sell him for that much either.

Player prices are all relative anyway, so this and the other thread suggesting 300k are a bit of a nonsense, he's worth what someone's prepared to pay for him. This is real life, not football manager

If we were to buy him then I would be a bit upset at spending £300K on him but to sell him to another club we should hold out for £500K.

We don't need to sell or want to sell so we should get a good price for him if he leaves during his contract

Welsh international, only 25 years old, player of the season last year, leadership qualities, seven goals last year.

£300,000 sounds about right.

No way is he worth anywhere near 300k. If we are to get promoted i think a central midfielder to play with dicker is a must

Back of the Argus this morning is saying that Norwich have put in a bid for him which we are likely to accept, no mention of what the bid was but they are also saying Prutton is lined up to come here now that Boothroyd has gone to Coventry. Given he only has a year left on his deal, if we were to get somewhere near £300k and replace with Prutton on a free then as much as I'd like Crofty to stay it makes good business sense.
