Only ever got excited when it was a must win game to progress in a competition all the others are just the warm up.

Not against San Marino, I was watching Wales/Scotland.

Any big tournament, yes.

Key qualifiers (and ultimately there aren't that many), yes.

Friendlies and cannon fodder, no.

I know it was an eventful Summer with The Jubilee and Olympics but I felt that Euro 2012 was just an add on.

Not friendlies anymore I think being passionate about winning England friendlies went out the window when Sven was the manager and we used to get 20 players Playing over the 90 mins
I still get excited when it gets to a tournament but even qualifiers are boring now with San Marinos Moldovas and such like teams qualifying seems a formality now with very easy groups for England

Have to agree on ever get slightly interested when tournaments on. I normally put a small bet on the game to get Me interested.
