The dull part of the south coast
We need Villa to beat Man Utd to go above Chelsea, and we need a point at Spurs to ensure 8th.

Therefore what result best helps us tonight? Two outcomes:

Man Utd win, they get pissed up and don't care about playing Villa on Sunday. This also decimates Spurs and they don't turn up on Sunday.

Man Utd lose, they fall apart as they've done all season and don't care about playing Villa on Sunday. But Spurs get pissed up and are still drunk when we play them Sunday, or their confidence returns and they play like the Champions League qualifiers that they now are.

Obviously it's a given we want a draining extra time and penalties regardless of the outcome.

I think overall for us we want a Man Utd win? But I wouldn't ever say that out loud.
I would rather the game was abandoned and both teams expelled from taking part next season thus allowing an extra UEFA spot to be up for grabs. Well, one can dream. :drink:

Whist appreciate this venue was chosen ages ago still think it mad 2 english clubs plating this in Spain. Surely venue is named wiyh note that if 2 sides from same country are in final it will be played in that country. Original club losing out recieves compnsation for any outlay and has following years final

I’ve been thinking about it, I think the funniest outcome is Spurs going a goal up, dominating the game but somehow losing in the last 3-4 minutes to a couple of dodgy goals.

Spurs will have done the most Spurs thing ever. United will try and claim it’s up there with Barcelona ‘99 (it’s not). Ange will be fuming.

Man U win for me, I want a Spurs side on the floor on Sunday, lets get our business done before we worry about other sides

Villa should have enough to deal with Man U regardless of results and they need a good result

I really dont want a Spurs side and fans in full party mode. That will be a real handful
👆🏻 This.

After extra-time and penalties of course having lost a 2 goal lead.

The current cup winning team 'in party mode' put Wolves down with ease yesterday.

Obviously the answer is neither. However, it would be quite funny to have Spurs win, Ange get sacked anyway and then have an absolute meltdown of a last press conference he gives where he will offer a journo outside.

I rarely watch televised football however I’ve had a lazy day so I now quite fancy it however I haven’t got TNT.

If you’ve got SKY you can watch FREE (not a free trial) on the DISCOVERY PLUS APP. You just need to set up a log in (no bank details required)

Don't care, just want there to be lots and lots of penalties. We want the kitman and coach driver to be taking one.

Saw a video earlier of what appeared to be a father and son wearing Man United shirts walking through a crowd of Spurs fans and being pelted with beer and getting abuse thrown at them.

For the very first time I am hoping for a Man United victory.

Tottenham, if only because of a lifetime detestation of the other bunch.
and hoping they will still be hungover come Sunday.

but having watched this shambles for 40 minutes and comparing it to the wonderful spectacle we were treated to on Monday evening at the AMEX, I certainly don’t think we would be out of place in Europe!
