Do we really want to keep Gifton?

I'd take him if we couldn't get better - and I'd be suprised if we could. That said, he didn't look like a player with any interest of having a future with the club yesterday. Perhaps a new manager will like the look of Turienzo enough to give him a go.

Would help if El turi wasn't injured for 90% of the season.

I couldnt see the point in playing him yesterday. His record as a goal scorer is not prolific but he holds the ball up well.

I think the point is we paid over the odds for this guy in both a loan fee and wages and it would have been bizarre to short-change the fans by not playing him. Aren't you always the one making points about finances - he would have been a very expensive spectator yesterday!

Shame Duberry his mate knew his game so well but the real problems were elsewhere yesterday, even though GNW was ineffective.

And hopefully it isn't a long-term recurring problem; I thought he looked pretty promising in his one start this year.

Hes looked average at best in the reserve games ive seen him in this season. I wouldn't hold your breath for him to do anything next year, i expect he will end up the same as Molango.

if you watch Gnw in the warm up he is the slowest player in the sprint & seems to have a permanent limp, which would back up the arthritis story, do we really want another cripple( kitson, dodd) sucking money from the club? I dont think so do you?

p.s.personaly I wouldn't want him, He's crap anyway

No.....he's shite. f*** off.

Should have been bold & found the cash for Fredddie Eastwood last year before he made a name for himself.
