The point of a rivalry is that at some point one team will be in the ascendency, and then the other will. Growing up in enemy territory as I did I was always made aware by Palace supporting mates of exactly how well they were doing and exactly how badly the Albion were doing in comparison. That is why I hate Palace, 'cos I want to be able to lord it over them for a change.

Bit of unnecessary preaching there Rob and not really relevant to what Junior was saying, which was in a football context. Whilst not for one minute condoning paedophilia or sexual abuse, the perpetrators of such actions are very often victims of childhood abuse themselves caught in a destructive vicious cycle not of their own making.

I hate Palarse. I don't even like to write the name. No other team even comes near in the hate stakes in my opinion. If that labels me as over 30 who cares but I shall always hate Palarse until my dying day. I find it appalling that the question even has to be asked to be honest.

Top post CM i have said countless times the over 30 year old Palace and Brighton fans know exactly what the rivalry is about, but the under 25's really havent a clue unless been preached to by dads, uncles, brothers etc, because for one thing we have only played each other twice in 15 seasons!
