Australian Open needs Djokovic a lot more than Djokovic needs Australian Open so I think they'll find a way to let him play.

Difficult one. Djokovic wants to move ahead of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in winning Grand Slams so I'm not so sure.

Never had much time for The man but he is clearly a HERO of the people standing up to the absurd tyranny in that country trying to stop people from living when the virus is now essentially reduced to little more than a cold and people have had the opportunity to vaccinate if they wish.

Won’t stop the covid gammons from foaming at the mouth though at the anti-vaxxer as we can already see.

Who cares what the PM or what people wants? Money rules the world. The people with money wants Djokovic at the Australian Open. Even more so now with this fiery storyline, which is what this slowly dying sport needs as non-tennisnerd people are fed up with one wholesome hoity-toity spinach obsesser on each side the net. Djokovic playing would provide the whole good vs evil thing that people likes.

Then he can get vaccinated so he can do his job.

I have no very strong views (beyond a view that anti-vaxxers are idiots) on how governments manage rules on vaccinations, covid and travel rules. Arguments on every side and we won't know what was the best course of action for a long time yet.

I do however have strong views on people being treated differently (and expecting to be treated differently) beause they are rich/famous/good at sport.

Ah, you popped up again, surprise surprise to comment with your rabid anti vax nonsense.

What about the Albion though?

This - their country, their rules. He should **** off somewhere else if he doesn't like it.

I’d argue him not being there makes it far more interesting

Disagree. It’s fascinating watching him try to hold off the younger generation as his skills start to wane.

I would suggest the Australian government and PM very much care what the people wants. How on earth would they get reelected with your attitude?

There's two ways of getting reelected: your tenure happens to coincide with a positive part of a business cycle or rich people give you enough donations so you can spend money brainwashing people into voting for you. Their current bloke is ****ed just like basically every other PM and party ruling through these covid years.

Hugely insensitive. Maybe - if you were allowed into hospitals around the world - you'd see the horrific pressures on them at the moment.

Don't be a bellend.

given the general response to covid, that idea is terribly simplistic. in a country where they've had particularly strict restrictions, letting someone bypass will be very unpopular, more than its worth to let him in.

You’ve already done all this through your Mustafa identity. Bit repetitive. Maybe post a poll on something ?
