IMO Tom Ince is the only comparable player in this league who is better than Will Buckley

Lets compare him to Stirling instead then

It's difficult to compare Zaha to anyone else - as I cannot remember anyone else , who has never played in the Prem and only ever finished as high as 17th in the Championship, proclaim themself as the third best player on the planet.

Brighton and Hove Albion; forever in our shadow. Lasy year, your first year in your new fantastic stadium and the chance to finally change the guard. But what happens?
.

Er, we finished a stack of points, and half a league above you?

Dude, seriously, stop getting so worked up about what these silly little weeds think. They are so jealous and bitter that it hurts, the fact that there are hundereds of comments about Zaha tells you all that you need to know. They are small time followers of a tinpot club. Look at our BBS. Are there anywhere near the level of threads there about any of Albions players? No, because we couldn't care less about them. Contrast that with the weeds who know deep down that Wilf would walk into any side in the Championship and 2/3rds of the Premiership. He will within a year go to a top club in Europe for anything between £15-£25 million pounds. This is more than Brighton's entire shitty team is worth put together. And before you mention Buckley, funny how Woy didn't include him in the squad ???

We become the first ever away league team to win at the Amex, something that forever will be in your history books. Glenn Murray, a great player, idolised by your fans, decided to join the bigger club and puts the icing on the cake of a dominant display. FFS Murray! Then this year, all we hear is how it's going to be your year, your boasts about your amazing new signings, and that Palace are going down. But oh wait...who's that top of the pile, 9 points ahead of you, with the best manager outside of the Premiership and playing football only you can dream of? :lolol:

We're Crystal Palace. And we're top of the league.

Thanks for the laughs. Jealous & bitter? :lolol::lolol:

Glenn Murray was never idolised by our fans. He was not rated as highly as he should have been. Many didn't like him much at all, because of a percieved attitude problem. He didn't have much choice but to find another club did he, after we had released him at the end of his contract?

If you take a look at the CPFC BBS there is a reason why it is not plastered with threads about Brighton - any debate on the main forum which a mod takes a dislike to means posters being banished to the away sub forum.

Which is chock a block with Brighton threads.

Its how the BBS choose to run their forums. Its not any better or worse than NSC's format just different. Personally, with the huge activity from the NSC board its sometimes difficult to keep tracks of things. I think it'd also be worthwhile having an away fan subforum here and perhaps Brighton Talk and General Talk subforums as well in order to make it easier to follow threads but thats just my opinion.

As it is then I think Zaha did fine with his 5 minutes, he's managed to experience International football now and the crowd which can only be good for him in the long run. Even better than that he came out of it without an injury so thankfully he can slot right back into the side on Saturday.

After he dissed the travelling support at Brentford in 2010 it wasn't surprising there was a growing resentment from fans who saw him as arrogant and lazy.

Not a great first post, lacking in any real proof or originality. 4/10.

And where has it got you this year? Lets be honest, if both teams end up still in the same divison, the bragging rights go to the team that did the best in the derby games.

Really? Id've thought it should go to the team with the highest league position, regardless of derby victories. Derbies count for squat in the final standings.

To be fair BBS is now a smaller forum than NSC, just look at the current stats, BBS currently 533 viewers NSC 982 and thats on a quiet Thursday afternoon

Maybe your busy top of the league team forum is some other one

Put it this way, i probably got more satisfaction from seeing my team rip your's apart in your own back yard on 27/09/11, than you probably did when you looked at the final league table over your breakfast last May.

Personally I love this post. For someone who considers us tinpot, you've taken a lot of trouble to post a very long tirade. In afraid there would be few, if any, Albion fans jealous of palace. Why on earth would we? These are great times to support our club. There is in all honesty nothing to be jealous about. I believe the only jealousy ids coming southward down the m23. You surely don't think you'll still be top at the end of the season? If you do then I believe you're yet another deluded eagle. If you lot manage it, then full credit, it's a modern miracle. But jealous? Don't make me laugh.

Gus only wanted him to stay if Murray signed a 2 year deal and accept a new pay deal that was already on the table. His agent then tried to play the club off against Millwall and Palace. Palace offered Murray a 3 year deal and more money , his agent hinted that he would sign for us for the same money as Palace offered but Gus told him Murray had burnt his bridges.
