Wherever The Mood Takes Me
Micky Adams has hailed his return as Albion manager as the easiest decision of his career.

The man who steered the Seagulls to the League Two title seven years ago and left them as promotion contenders in League One had no hesitation in returning when the call came from chairman Dick Knight.

"I thought it was a great honour when I got the job the first time but to be offered the chance to come back for a second time is fantastic," Adams said. "I always hoped I would come back at some stage and I cannot tell you how excited I am.

advertisement"I've had good days since I've been away and bad days . I look back at my days with Brighton with fantastic affection and sometimes think what did I leave for but you make decisions and move on. Sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong.

"I have been offered four jobs since I've been out of work but it was an easy decision to come back, probably the easiest one I've had to make in my career. It's a club I hold in great esteem and I cannot wait to get started."

I think you will look back on this in a years time Richie and feel a little ashamed and embarrassed, maybe we should bounce it the day we play at Falmer. Some fans do not deserve Dick Knight. The greatest chairman in the country. Anyway this decision has made me decide to renew my 2 season tickets so with you not renewing they are still net 1 up.

However well Adams does the way Wilkins has been treated is SHAMEFUL.

We could win the league next season and I would still think Wilkins has been SCREWED over by Dick Knight.

Unlike some on here I will support the current manager, whoever they are, but we have gone from a manager who improved us 11 places in a season to one who has spent this season as Assistant Manager at Colchester and scouting at Stoke and had one good season with Leicester aside hasn't done much since he left us.

I hope it proves a successful appointment but it is definitely harsh on DW.

Coming from the man who has spent TWO seasons trying to undermine Wilkins at every given chance and MOANING about the way McGhee was treated.

Not sure you have a leg to stand on criticising people discussing the change in boss an HOUR or so after it has happened...

I stated from day 1 , Wilkins was not the man. I endured his 2 years tenure but it very nearly put me off going to watch the Albion. He did nothing to change my mind that he was the right man for the job. He was only ever keeping the seat warm.

...the treatment of Wilkins is an utter SHAMBOLIC disgrace.

A POPULAR former player who has done a CRACKING job as boss AND developed some of the best young players this club has EVER seen and he gets the boot like this?

SCREAMS of a PR exercise to try and get a few more bums on seats next season.

I for one will be sending a letter to the club tomorrow requesting my season ticket application be cancelled.

Well that just about sums up the kind of prick you are doesnt it.

EDIT = I can see why you are upset, but please stop whinging about it, everyone is shocked, sleep on it. Dont cancel your season ticket.

Agree with all your sentiments Richie.

Will i be delighted if we win the league next year? Of course.

Do i want to support a club who treat people like this? No.
