Defund the BBC.

On the plus side, Das Reich and Baker Shite now only seem to post in the bear pit. Thy get no affirmation on the main board, having burned too many bridges.

I'm interested in what will happen to that other little shit who got a short ban for gleefully advocating the branding of Jews. Mouldy Boots. Set up his own thread about the recently departed Sir Tom, which has been largely ignored, thankfully (it was all 'me, me, me'). Some interesting psychopathies to consider (or put on ignore) on NSC.

All the best! I'm off now.

Did you sign the visitors book H ?
Regards
DF

In another life, Westy and Clampy would be attempting to rehabilitate habitual criminals. Good luck with that on here, lads. ???
" Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men look on and do nothing"

I think the best of humanity is in those that think there can be change for the better, although that is incredibly taxing when dealing with the nasty little cabal of stupidity, hate and bias that exists on here.

I think it's far simpler than you think.

None of them are young, they were born into the land of opportunity, given the best free education in the world with the best health and welfare services to support them, the same as everyone in our generation.

Unfortunately, through laziness, idiocy and ineptitude, they managed to piss all those opportunities up the wall and are angry and jealous, not only at those who actually used all their opportunities and have been successful, but even more so on anyone who didn't get those opportunities, through time or place of birth and have now, through hard work and endeavour, have sailed past them.

It must be frustrating being a complete and utter failure, but even more so after being given the best opportunities in the world. Of course they're angry, there has to be someone to blame, and it's obviously everyone else :dunce:

BTW, when did Ian Botham become someone we should listen to about funding models for public broadcasters?

As far as I can tell he only really has expertise in three areas; cricket in the 1980s, walking about and panto.

I didn't have Baker Lite and Das Reich down as fans of cancel culture. Or is calling for the BBC to be defunded because it occasionally says something that you disagree with different?

You can add racism to that charge sheet too, the World has moved on and left them with memories of Robertson's Jam badges two World Wars and their TV archive dwindling. Almost everything they said and did in the shool playground is now wrong and they are left rudderless in the past...

The BBC has moved with the times and they can't stand it, so, like children, they just want to smash it.

It's all part of the grand plan to control the media like in the US and Australia, they are launching GB news which will be like Talk Radio and looking to launch Fox News in the UK. What they dislike is a public owned broadcaster, thats people power, so need to poison the public against it, obviously it works against easily led Brexity types. Same as in The US with Trump supporters.

We could try our best to convince those that they are being controlled by these media outlets to support the interest of their wealthy owners but I think it's a waste of energy

Murdoch is an evil **** ....here's a fact for you ....The ABC Australias BBC .. has been cut funding to the tune tune of 150 million dollars per year since continually unearthing corruption and ineptitude in the LNP .....foxtel has been given 40 million form the public purse and is in line to get another 40 million this year despite being a commercial station and paying zero tax ........foxtel hacks are also being planted into primetime newsreader / interviewing slots at the expense of long term , dedicated and respected reporters ....you are right , the game is definitely afoot.

No cancel culture here skip,I just don’t see why pensioners should go without food to pay Gary Linekers wages.
Make a subscription service like Sky and Netflix and amazon Prime. I don’t want to pay to watch this wokery.

Don't buy one, then - simple.

You can watch loads of dodgy YT videos, like Dripping Fanny, instead.

I have legally cancelled my License, I just fee so sorry for pensioners having to make the choice of paying for Leftwaffe propaganda or having the doors kicked in by Aunties bully boys.
We seem far from a land fit for heroes.

So what else do you propose we allow pensioners to skip out from having to pay for? Petrol? Food?

Why not just give them free heating?

it was the BBC that cancelled free tv licences.
It’s so mean of Auntie....MEAN.

If you're concerned that pensioners are having to choose between a TV licence and heating, and heating costs a lot more than a TV licence, why aren't you campaigning for free heating for the elderly? Surely that's a much better thing to want as they'll save more money that way?

Strange position to take, seeming standing up for socialist 'leftie'policies but also using it to slam the same 'leftie' principle ?
