Remember, years ago, reading Denis Law's autobiography when he said his worst moment as a commentator was watching a Brighton game and saying something like:
"If Mark Lawrenson keeps playing like this, surely he's got to be considered for the next England squad."
Then wanting to sink into the earth as his producer quietly passed him a note saying: "Mark Lawrenson has won six caps for Ireland". . .

Thankfully John Terry had the presence of mind to give up on the guy he was comfortably shepherding away before James got ionvolved, and instead went to protect the empty gaping goal James had left behind him.
The guy is f***ed in the head. He seems to move in slow motion at free kicks, and that second goal tonight just about took the biscuit (after his earlier "save" with his ANKLES, god help us). Sven is simply not doing his job properly as England manager by continuing to select this disaster waiting to happen. Does any fan in the country actually rate David James ? What is it about him that screams "ENGLANDS NUMBER ONE" ? I must be missing something. Perhaps there's something us mortal football fans simply don't understand about why James is apparently the best keeper England has to offer. What is it ? Or is he simply automatic choice because of his "experience" ?
Someone, please explain it to me. I really need to know. Please.
