Looked useful last year at the Wycombe game, as has been said before would be beneficial in the crossing and dead ball departments.

Worth a trial, lets hope it works out for both of us.

Pal of mine is a Wycombe season ticket holder. Seeing him tomorrow. Will ask his opinion.

He looked very comfortable on the ball when he came on last night. He looked a vast improvement to anybody we have had playing on the right side of midfield for the past 12 months.

Come to that has anybody performed down that side recently.

OGH looked as if he was only interested in having a punch up and not playing football.

I would suggest that he is well worth a short contract with the offer of an extention if he proves his worth.

But when he does well for us he will get nicked by Reading or Real Madras or someone.

Put him on a long term contract.

... and his opinion is:

Great skills, a bit slow, show-pony, crowd favourite.

With a bit more pace could have made it in the Premiership.

Sounds as though he could be worth a short term contract so we can have a good look at him.

sign him up

give him 3 months to start with, and when he proves to be the best player at the club give him a longer contract

He was great at Barnet, not sure how he got on at wycombe, but the term 'mercurial' could be applied to his talents. IMHO he's worth a go, we need more life in the midfield and £0 is definitely in our price range. Given his alleged ego I would think that the elevated stage of "The Championship" would suit him.

I was sure I remembered him from that pathetic 4-1 display at a wet Withdean. Two words above bring him to mind. "show-pony" and "ego". Still, that was when he played for someone else. Bring him on and see what in can do in the right-coloured shirt. After all they could have been used to describe another Darren and he was OK.
