If it's a No and all the Nimbys are all over the media celebrating then I am liable to lose my head and do something I regret
Not contemplating a No , cant get excited about it though as I'm sure there will be further hitches and conditions applied etc

I tend to feel the same....we have had so many dissapointments when we were told it was a cast iron certainty, that I cant get excited about this until the buldozers move into the University buildings.

If they say Yes, and LDC finally say "Ok" and the Falmer Council accept the decision, the Council for Rural England say "Ok", the Sussex Downsman say "Ok" then I think it is time to hit the local hostelries.

LAst time out, the decision came in, and from work, just bumped into loads of brighton fans, we all gathered a pub, sung albion songs, drunk thenight away, "borrowed" the argus headline boards with falmer yes on them, took them out, drunk champaign, had a great time, then got up saturday to do it all again before ipswich

what a night.........back in october 2005 :(

just remember, if its a yes, saturday is Kerry Mayo day, not falmer yes day :)

I'm confident that it'll go the right way. If it is a 'no' though, the only option available to the club would be to look into the possibility of an appeal into the Falmer decision specifically. Having spent years, and millions, proving that Falmer is the only viable option, we wouldn't have a leg to stand on trying to go anywhere else. Even if there were another viable site, do you think anybody's got the stomach for another years-long planning campaign, for that's what it would be? It's Falmer or die, basically.

I don't think it's Falmer or die. I think its Falmer or a hand-to-mouth existance in League 2 / Conference at Withdean, perhaps with a roof eventually if we're really lucky.
