The profile not rising enough to usurp F1 from the main channels though. To think this historic display was only important enough to the BBC to be given red button status. Disgusting.
Auntie Beeb shell out upwards of £1,000,000 per F1 race.

It's a shame we'd rather glamorise that, than true GB talent, although you couldn't have predicted just what a dominant GB performance it would be.

Don't worry the Beeb won't have F1 to show every race next year. Which should leave room for the televising of more sports, a lot more sports. Hand ball anyone?

It could've been predicted and should've been predicted. Ok not the awe inspiring manner in which it was but the fact that most of this team have ALREADY achieved far more than any bloody car driver will ever do means it should of been the top of their agenda. There are Olympic medallists, world record holders and current newsworthy achievers in this team that should've been given more respect from the BBC.

It was gripping. I loved it when Millar likened it to 1966. Cav is brilliant - and if he comes over as an arse sometimes he doesn't to his team-mates who seem to love riding for the guy. Fantastic achievement.
