This evening I will mostly be watching old cycling videos, while eating pic'n'mix, and also watching XXX!

If you don't have 4mins to spare, check out 1:30, for bike handling.

Old Skool class, shame they were probably all off their faces

Found it.

My reason for loving Le Tour, and then cycling in general, more than soccerball. (but not The Albion)

I enjoyed Le Tour, prior to this day.
I must have done as I was watching this, and knew the enormity of it all.
But seeing Millar do that, twice, has always stuck with me as my 'first' tour memory.

There you go Pantani, one for you.

I was going to ask the question:-
'how the hell did Ullrich get his fat German ass up Ventoux, with that company'.
Only to answer by saying, 'well we all know the answer now'.

But the bigger question, as always has to be:-
'every single one of those riders is a drugs cheat, and LA rode all but one them off his wheel'.

Anyway it's Milan-San Remo selection time.

This is my favourite, Pantani at his very best. Destroyed the field single handedly.

Loving an almost all year round cycling thread :)

Just about to do final tweeks to my Milan - San Remo selection. Feels like one big lottery to me. Budget and only 4 star riders makes it really tricky, especially as I don't have much clue on good cheap domestiques for this one. Seems the top 20 odd is likely to be comprised of nearly all star riders anyway

Haussler for me, a bit of revenge for 2009.

One of my picks too. I've changed my team so many times for this, and I am at work until 4am so still have plenty of tinkering time. Think I am settled though.

Money does get seriously tight on races like this. Research in to the continental teams does help to confuse the issue further though ???

Good call for this one it would seem.

Currently my main hopes are spread amongst Sagan, Nabali & EBH. Trying to think a little bit outside of the box and take current form into account ( that's code for clueless naivety  )

I'm going for mainly cheap Italian doms, hoping that they'll at least try to be in any early breakaways for the home crowd.

My Doms for this only has one famous bloke. :lolol:

Stuart O'Grady (GRE)
Daniele Righi (LAM)
Diego Caccia (FAR)
Pier Paolo De Negri (FAR)
Maarten Wynants (RAB)

Giving away line ups this soon? I have had both Wynants and De Negri in my team at some point during this selection process, they may make it back in by tomorrow.

I just have a feeling that it's a step too far for Cav at this stage of the season this year, especially with that final climb in there. Not sure that was on the route in 2009 ?

Yep, I reserve the right to change my team as many times as I like right up until I go to bed tonight, and I won't be adverse to stealing ideas either

It's always been there.
I think it was Big George's job to get Cav over it, in 2009.

Notoriously short Skybet have Haussler @ 18-1
Breshel @ 33-1
As a random long odds bet Peter Velits @ 125-1, would be were my £1 would go.
