Amazing isn't it, I have been wanting to pick him for a few rounds now and gambled that he had been forgotten about and i would be able to pick him up late in the draft which, happily for me has proven to be the case.

There's a few others that i'm amazed are still available but sadly can't pick them myself unless i play some strange formation with something like only 2 defenders, a dozen midfielders and a dozen up front but don't think i can get away with that one (i still think i can put together a very good 2nd draft team of unpicked players)

It has to be 200+ appearances for one club / 70+ for one nation and not over several teams during their whole career (leaving and returning to the same club/nation can be counted together)

A manager is judged on his managerial career ONLY.

The Manager of my unruly group of players will be a young, up-and-coming manager. He is the First Manager to win 4 successive Eredivisie titles.

He was a great centre back back in the day as well!

Also it then states this...

But surely, if an individual fits this category and they have then managed, then you could field them. They would be judged on their managerial record in the final scenario, but surely they'd qualify to get on the plane this way?
