That is marvelous news ....

Tis the opposite of last season: we not only have no loanees, four (thanks AZ ) of our squad are currently out on loan, and are at appropriate clubs to benefit the squad in the longer term (i.e. O'G might attract a transfer fee; JFC is playing full games in the Championship; Rea is getting experience; Chicksen is elsewhere).

Got to say it, CH and PW (thanks TB too) have got it spot on.

Unsurprisingly when spending CoG money, 9.9 times out of 10 you're going to get Big Chris quality, and still have gaps to fill.

Which only leaves 4 outfield players who won't make the matchday squad.

Unless Hambo and Harper join the full squad that doesn't seem enough.

Looks OK to me - lean and mean! Hopefully with this small squad that will leave enough wriggle room in the budget for a loanee or two if we need them (or if somebody absolutely brilliant that we could never afford to buy suddenly becomes available!)
