I'm not trying to say it. I AM saying it.

Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United, Manchester City, Wigan and Bolton haven't been in Lancashire since 1974.

Ahh ok.

My A in Geography at GCSE level needs mentioning though.

Greater Manchester (4) Man United, Man City, Bolton, Wigan

Do you know, I never appreciated that Wigan was in Greater Manchester. I knew that Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale were but not Wigan. I always thought it was in Lancashire.

A google search has, of course, proved you correct.

You can learn things on NSC!

Comic book guy strikes again. So administratively you are correct but nobody in Bolton or Wigan would describe themselves as from Greater Manchester, they are proud lancastrians

Exactly most Boltonians would absolutely hate to be described as no longer being from Lancashire.

Peter Kay for one is incredibly proud of his Lancastrian heritage.

Sussex and Middlesex are a bit different from the other two: they no longer exist so their grounds couldn't be sited there.

Lancs and Surrey do still exist so teams could play there if they wanted to. I think Lancs will have to next year - isn't Old Trafford being closed for a season while they turn the pitch around?

Edna, in a battle of wits you should know it's unfair to fight an unarmed man.

So saying I think my county is the most successful in terms of football status at the moment deserves all this ridicule does it?

Why would you care you don't even live in Sussex.

I think they are playing most of their home games at Aigburth which is in Merseyside.

Leeds - but not the dirty bit
Yep.
Warwickshire is another one.

Yorkshire, but only as there are three and a half to choose from, and The Democratic Student Republic of Headingley should be an independent state on it's own.
