Could I do the Brighton marathon in 2011 ?.

I was INSPIRED today. I have made a vow to run the 2011 Brighton Marathon for the REMF prior to the 10th anniversary game.

Considering I have not run for 8 years since REMF 1 and largely exist on a diet of whisky and cigarettes I feel it would be a challenge.

I will put it on record if I get a yes vote I will run for the REMF next year.

Shall I do it or just spectate next year. I stood up and applauded for 2 hours today and had to go and have a rest as my legs were hurting.

I will let you decide.

Consult your doctor (I'm sure you have one) if they say why not, then go for it... its just another challenge to overcome, granted more than most people, but makes the result that much more worth while!

I am 47 now and my mind is going.

Have to say I've been a bit inspired with it all too. I've never been a runner though, used to walk the cross country at school. Am going to see how running suits me over the next few weeks.
