I would rather gnaw my own leg off at the knee than go and watch conference football.

I went and watched Lewes once last year and after 10 minutes, I wanted to go home, or at least hit the bar
And what league were Lewes in? Hardly the Conference now was it?

I've only been to see Crawley once, against Weymouth this season. Didn't like the homophobia and bile that was projected towards the Weymouth fans so probably wouldn't go again

Can't say I recognise that as being a Crawley crowd. I know there wrere some rent-a-Burberrys turned up for that game (millwall or West Ham, can't remember which) maybe you got unlucky and were near them.

The only homophobia I know of is a standing joke on our forum against a bloke who is straight!

Never cheer on crawley as a Horsham fan. When I was about 14 I was chased across crawley station by a bunch of blokes in their 20s intent on beating the shit out of three 14 year old males who were supporting Horsham.

Crawley Scum, nuff said.

That said I was pleased that they mad eit to the conference as they are a sussex club.

Absolutely not, if I was ever at home visiting the olds in Sussex I and the Albion weren't playing I would go and watch the nearest decent team, Horsham. Sadly they the whole family has now left the County so my only reason for going back will be to watch the Albion, my "new" local non-league outfit is Gloucester City so I will be checking them out next season.

However, like tinx, I was happy to see them get in the league as it was time that Sussex had more representation further up the pyramid, I have a sneaking suspicion that they could do very well next season.

I've always enjoyed my trips to the Broadfield stadium. But I've always been there to support the opposition.

I particularly enjoyed the Newport County game at the end of the season. Lots of whinging home fans made it even better.

Friend of the family is an Exeter fan so if the Albion had no game, might go along in the Exeter end and hope to see Crawley lose.
