A bit of Hiney Art can never disappoint, can it?

Actually- what if Hiney was Chris Hoy in that one? :D

Funny you should mention the word begging I'm most looking forward to "and before we present the gold medel to Bradley Wiggins here is a short film featuring Nicole Scherzinger who took an all expenses paid trip to Africa to meet some children who need your money"

Of all the celebrity types they had to do the charity appeals, I couldn't help thinking that Scherzinger was the most incongruous.

Most of them were Scottish, or British, or had some sort of meaningful connection with the cause.

To see Scherzinger pop up, then, looking every inch the Hollywood type, did feel like the odd one out.

Gods country fortnightly
It really for the most part a Team GB v Australia event, with over half the medals going this way. Good for Glasgow and for Scotland, but as a sporting event you have gotta wonder.....

Adam Gemili gets a very good Silver for England in the Mens-100m-Without-Usain-Bolt.

That was a magnificent run by him, he may well become a top sprinter shortly.

The Olympics could learn a lot from these games - the way in which the Para-Sports events have been totally integrated rather than having their own games has been superb.

Doubles at squash should be interesting- usually not enough room for 2 players so 4 might be chaos

You don't think that there should be a separate 2 week long Paralympics then?
