Am I the only one who thinks that the majority of new grounds, all look like they have been made out of the left over rolls of aluminium foil that used to adorn a kit kat?
What must be more galling is being given the keys to your new bacofoil identikit stadium only to be given an invoice for a cool 25-30 million. Where does the money go, cos it certainly doesn't go on build quality!
The one thing i'm so glad about with Falmer is that it will be enclosed all the way round. Even if we haven't filled the corners with seats it will look so much better all enclosed to keep out the elements and keep in the atmosphere*
*management refuse the right to withdraw atmosphere at any time with inept and inert home performances. Atmosphere sold separately (RRP- more than the cost of an M & S mock barbour wax jacket and a packet of extra noisy mint imperials.)

Think it's what is called "a design feature" to make nothing look like something.....unfortunately it kind of succeeds and I'm jealous. Roll on Falmer

I know we're in no position to criticise at the moment, but I'm going to anyway.
That stadium is SHITHOUSE. Dull, bland, indentikit 4 stand design, I've seen more imagininative B&Q's in my time. Spindly little floodlights as well.
Was that really the extent of Hammonds "ambition" ?

nope. i think they've probably realised that they have alreeady put more than enough seats in to deal with ambitious hot bed pf footballing passion that is colchester
