Piles is Farmers ( Farmer Giles )
Normally in evidence when having an Eartha.

The man is correct and Kettle is definitely not a watch as mentioned it is most certainly Kettle Drum which is where ginger (beers) take it .

This is not meant to be homphobic or an insult to anybody

Ah, sitting here on me 'arris I remember a work colleague who was a true cockney. He'd say go down any frog in the 70's and you could have a butchers at some berk in his lionels falling out of the rub, totally brahms. He would then be on the dog to get his chinas out to get him back to the trouble. Those were the days weren't they. A few bevvys and a ruby, you'd still have change from a lady.
Totally sexton of course

The reason I think it is a watch is because the word kettle was used in quite a few episodes of Minder when Arfur Daley was flogging dodgy watches to Dave behind the bar at the Winchester Club.
Unless the resesrchers at Thames TV/Euston Films got it wrong.
But as in piles cockney slang is open to a lot of interpretation.

We had Gary Neville #35, I prefer Bob Wilson than Harold:lolol:

Like jockey whips, not heard that for a while.

Cloud 9 was called Libertys when I lived in Seaford but it had closed down when I moved to Newhaven, I went there twice and it kicked off both times (nothing to do with me).
