Perhaps it depends if anyone puts him through instead of passing to him with a 6ft defender getting in his shirt. The guys not really had a chance.

I hope we can bring in a better centre forward than CMS.
but I would like to see him instead of COG as well as sometimes with him.
playing on the shoulder of the opponents centre backs looking to get in behind
and also stretching the opponents defense giving the support strikers more room
to relieve the ball and play in.

if hegets behind the defence who's going to pass to him? The problem is created before/if CMS gets the ball. Don't feed him , he won't score.

Cms has had loads of chance I remember 1 at palace away clean through 1 on 1 my gran could have slotted it away and still put it wide! I love his work rate but he can t cut it in the championship thats already been proven over 2 season s he just always seems to be tripping over the ball or scuffing off his shin or back hope he proves me wrong but can t see it

I'd like to see COG with a quality finisher (buy with our warchest) on his shoulder.
CMS as a sub or sold & replaced.

I am inferring from what I have seen from Sami so far that there will still be 1 main striker
and 2 or 3 supporting strikers 4 2 3 1 or 4 3 2 1 .
I think CMS is best used as the 1 striker further forward
As I said before hopefully we sign a better centre forward than CMS or COG
But if we don't I would like to see CMS given his chance there as I do not see COG
as a goal scoring machine there would be some cons - worse hold up play-
and some pros stretching the opponents defence.
