Class? Hmmmm, wouldn't go that far

No nor me!

But i can understand that he would be a youngsters hero figure.

His touch hasnt been great of late! vicente is class, and cms's touch or brain isnt anything close to him - so i dont rate him as class. Thats not to say i dont like him.

Probably because he was sort after and we paid 2.5 million+ for him, personally i think gus knows what is required and will build the right team around him for next season.

I thinks its pretty delusional that people would think we would build a team around CMS. Personally at present i think he's lucky to keep getting starts.

Isn't that what Gus promised CMS when he was serenading him?

CMS is a quality player who works bloody hard for the team. A strike partner and wingers putting in crosses would mean he produces totally different results.

I think he needs to drop to the bench as he has been poor of late. Be interesting to see if the team struggles without his energy.

Also got a feeling he will bag a brace at Leeds!

The thing I love most about him, and I'm sure many would agree, is the way he takes the pressure off of the rest of the team by tirelessly and constantly chasing the ball down never giving the opposition defenders a moments rest. It's much more than just running around like a headless chicken and I don't think this contribution can be underestimated. Admittedly he should have more goals to his name but I have no doubt it's just a matter of time before they start coming. Absolute cult hero in the making.

Couldnt agree more.

Basically, a few key members of the team have been sicknotes, and those that have been lucky enough to wear the exclusive stripes have been pretty shit. We really should have won this league by now.

We clearly need Brezovan's height upfront...

Although, I do agree that CMS should be dropped for a game or two to let him know that he needs to step up his game. A place in the first team shouldn't be guaranteed for any player, even if they're the club's record signing.

Barnes and Vokes to start vs Leeds for me.

Saying that, I would love to see Vokes and CMS get a decent run together in the side, but Barnes' current form is too good to justify dropping him.

We are not going to play two up-front. People need to get used to that. At best, we'll play one striker out wide like we're doing with Barnes.

My favourite argument from those who are defending CMS's run of form is, "if you can't see how good he is you don't know anything about football." It's the argument of someone who hasn't got anything to say except he runs a lot.

What people are missing is that no one is really saying he's a bad player. He simply doesn't fit into the way we play. I can't see Gus changing things on the off-chance CMS scores a few more, especially while we're getting the results.
