The Seagull Line, granted it is an unofficial club line, says that CKR and his management team have issued a statement that he will not play for the club again until MM talks with him and his advisors about the problems. So from that we can only assume that it is MM who is refusing the olive branch.

I would say that about sums it up rather well...

No matter what you may think of McGhee the manager, it has been my opinion from day 1 that it is he who is acting the PRICK over this incident, not CKR. The number of times I have read news of meetings being cancelled etc is beyond a joke. It seems like once you have fallen out with McGhee, there is no going back. CKR is no angel in this I am sure, but he deserves to be spoken to FFS.
You're working on the assumption that CKR's 'advisors' are telling the truth.

And what are the stories of McGhee constantly cancelling meetings? I must have missed them. Where were they published?

I just wish it was resolved - perhaps the PFA should intervene ?

This statement is freely available, well not free because it is a premium rate phone call, for all to hear, If what they are saying isnt true do the club not have a responsibility to the fans to make it known that what they are saying isnt true, and in the absence of the clubs statement, can we not assume that what they are saying is a correct version of events.

Yes, you are right, I am working largely on the basis that CKR's men are telling the truth, but bearing in mind McGhee's other fall-outs you have to admit it does add up.

As for meetings being cancelled, I have read at least two on here from Jam the Man himself - the one he has just mentioned, and one a week or two ago where a "clear the air" meeting was cancelled at the eleventh hour. Tell me I didn't imagine that, did I? ???
I don't know.

As for 'the other fall-outs', no, for me it doesn't necessarily add up. It may do anecdotally, or even conspiratorially, but that counts for nothing.

And with all due respect for Jam the Man, much as I respect and admire his support for both the club and the player, he is a little too close to only one side of the story for a judgement to be made - hence, I suspect, his reluctance to go into detail on here.

I fully expect Aaron to call me out of order for saying this, and I fully acknowledge it, and I apologise if he feels offended by this remark, but I am looking at the bigger picture in regard to sources and information.

I suspect the club will WHEN it's resolved.

Until then it would be merely a lesson in mud-slinging, which would help no-one.

Yeah but unlike other player's CKR is only hear because of fans entering a competition to win his contract. So as he is the fans player maybe we deserve to know what's going on! Or maybe we should just go on the princible that we're just here to spend our money on things like that but we have no right to know what's happening to our investment?
