The bottom line is McGhee signed him for the Albion. When you sign a player you look at all aspects of suitability, not just footballing prowess. If there are problems then why not use a bit of man-management to get the best out of the situation for both concerned? The buck must rest with McGoo.

He is destroying this club.

Unless Mcghee goes I cant see ckr ever playing for this club again
I can't see CKR playing for this club again under any circumstances.

Suppose for the sake of argument McGhee goes and Wilkins takes over. That's not going to change anything, because Wilkins won't put up with that sort of manipulative bullshit from CKR. Similarly, if a new manager comes in from outside, what message does that send to all the other players about pulling together for the team, or flouncing to get what they want?

The difference between Leon Knight and CKR in this position is that Leon had proved himself a decent goalscorer, hence Swansea taking him on - albeit as a certain risk. CKR has not proved his credentials, and no-one, it appears, wants to touch him with a bargepole.

I think this has gone beyond a joke now.

It seems that the final straw for KR was not being able to play in the Stiffs.

Not all Mcghees fault but has to take some of the blame.

If the 2 sides will not meet then play him or get rid.

And yes if Mcghee were to go CKR would be straight into the team.

I have said it before McGhee has the man management skills of an angry viper

Think though unsure that 3 clubs want ckr is just that the asking price is too high

Disagree - a new man will give everyone a chance, just look at Mcghee and Virgo.

Took the words out of my mouth (by which I mean my fingers).

If a new man came in, or Wilkins took over, it would be a clean slate for everyone. Fair enough if CKR still looks disinterested andhis agents keep touting him to all and sundry then he will go.

Well the problem is between the player and the manager.....

How do you know that? All signs are pointing to the player and the club.

McGhee wants to talk to CKR about footballing matters. That has nothing to do with CKR's 'management team'. If there are other factors at work, then that will be beyond McGhee's remit anyway.

So, all the carping about McGhee's so-called man-management skills (and who on here has been 'victim' of his man-management? So that's no-one then? Good.) aside, there is nothing to dictate that CKR would automatically go back into the side.

What I want to know is what will happen when he throws a paddy with the new manager over something petty?

London Irish the problem is with Ckr and certain members of the coaching staff unable to say what ones they are,but you have to agree it does point to Mcghee

So basically you have no idea whether changing the manager will work or not. Thought so. Just a reminder, Xmas cards are cheap to buy at the mo :)

Bollocks it does, it points to an immature player unable to accept any authority. Utterly naive to think Wilkins as manager would solve that - he's the coach that CKR is refusing to listen to now! :thud:

That was not the question, if he acts the same he will be treated the same.

New managers ten not to pay attention to what the man did befoe as it tende to get them fired!

Maybe the new manager would meet with CKR ndtak to him?

True up to a point, but then Virgo didn't throw a publicised hissy-fit at Coppell.

No - But a new man wouldnt really care about that to be honest - he would want to have his best players in the side and untill he did something to offend him he would playI would think
