Just another classic example of the gays getting over offended at the slighest thing.

If someone came up to me in the street and shouted "you straight *******", could i ring the police?

You utter, UTTER ****tard.

Not just saying this because I'm a Palace fan, but your PR and club image is a disaster at the moment. This whole homophobic thing is a real fiasco...Brighton is the gay capital of the world, therefore you will get stick for it (rightly or wrongly). After the poohgate incident, an actual Brighton fan from work joked that 'it wasn't the first time someone from Brighton got caught with his pants down'. It made everyone laugh and wasn't mean in an offensive manner to anyone. I just think your club is taking yourself and football way too seriously

Nobody here gives a shit what you think. Ever.

Edit: Well apart from one or two sad acts - who apparently think (?) a cretin like you has something tenuously worthwhile to say on the subject in question. Deary me.

Have you suffered years of oppression? Assuming you are not gay, would you face the death penalty in a variety of countries for just being who you are?

You've been called a wind up merchant before, but it seems you are just bigoted.

You are a nob.

We're not the gay capital of the world. If we were, is it a stick to beat us with? I think not.

I work in a special needs school and their humour is far more sophisticated than yours.

Not the first time Brighton got caught with his pants down? You do realise that pants down is pretty much a necessity for procreation.

I saw the "gesture" and my only thought at the time was "what a childish prick"

Although I might have had a different view if it had been a Saturday game and my 8 year old was with me and saw it.

I'm still not sure how a gesture that insinuates someone is gay can be considered homophobia. How does saying someone is gay indicate a hatred towards gay people? And surely a heterosexual person who is that outraged at being called gay is actually showing just as much, if not more homophobia than the person making the allegation in the first place.
If I was to walk past a white person in the street, and say to them "you're black", am I being racist?

If you mean it as an insult, then probably, yes.

A footballer will appear in court after fans claimed he made repeated homophobic gestures during a match.

Blackburn player Colin Kazim-Richards, 26, has been summonsed to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on August 22 to answer a charge under Section 5 of the Public Order Act.

The summons relates to an alleged gesture that Kazim-Richards made to the crowd when he was playing for Blackburn Rovers in a Championship football match Albion at the Amex on February 12.

The Turkey international was interviewed by officers from Sussex Police about the alleged incident earlier this year.

CKR was due to appear yesterday to answer this charge. I haven't seen anything reported - anyone heard any news?

I think you will find San Francisco is acknowledged as the gay capital of the world, also, l believe the F.A. has announced a crackdown on homophobia by both fans and players only today. I realise as the capital of fire raising rioters, you have the moral highground on us over this.

O dear, someone's been offended on NSC again, whatever next. He has allegedly broken the law and he will get a punishment no biggie, just hope the Albion fans (me included) who sing about Coppell having a disease don't get upset when the opposition fans with equally offensive lyrics about boyfriends and the like.
