Chuba Akpom signs on loan until the end of the season

apart from seeing Akpom shortly when Brighton played at Hull. I previously saw him play for England u19 scoring 2 I think in the 3.1 win over Demnark at Doncaster's Keepmoat stadium. He looked very good that night. John Stones, and John Lumsden are the only other names I remember playing that night. cant find line up from game now feb 5th 2013

I agree but their swapping in and out of the team has not appear to have been consistent with their performances... play a good game and still dropped.. it is the nature of teams these days

Hmmm, not sure if I agree. Out of those quoted I'm not sure any have put back to back good performances together........... though I may be being harsh on Sidwell of those mentioned.

Sidwell was playing well then taken out . others have had a good game but not picked the next game...

Usually somebody has seen something on twitter or heard a whisper.

But the whispers and stuff on twitter aren't reliable. You could easily have one poster hear saying they've heard it definitely isn't happening, while another says it categorically is.

Given that even genuine attempted signings (like Pratchard) can fall through, I'd wait until it's official.

Strange article. You'd think that as Steve Bruce worked closely with Akpom as his manager last season and wanted to re-sign him, that he would think he was a decent player who could do a job for them!
